Telling stories is becoming very important to me. I like to recall parts of my day and talk on the phone to my family, telling them things that happened (and some things that didn't).
Mama: Ok, this is for Daddy's birthday so don't tell him about it.
B: Yeah, I will.
Mama: No, I mean let's keep it a secret. So don't tell him.
B: But I want to tell Daddy. I'm gonna tell him about it.
Mama: If you tell him about the present, it won't be a surprise. We want him to be surprised.
B: I'll tell Daddy. I know! I'll tell him at dinner!
